At Picnic Island Resort, we feature two and three bedroom beach front cottages equipped for house keeping.

Please bring your own linen, i.e. sheets, blankets and towels.

Our cottages are located on safe, clean sandy beach areas with picnic tables, gas barbecues, and firepits for your family's enjoyment. A boat slip is provided for each cottage and there is a launching ramp on site. Pets welcome! Dogs must be leashed, please help keep ours grounds clean - Stoop and Scoop!

"SPECIAL" - Spring Weekend Getaway Packages
Available: (rates apply to following dates only)
    May 20th to June 21st 2008 (excluding Victoria Day weekend)
Ideal Location for a men's fishing weekend or ladies retreat.

Cottage weekend rates include:
  • 2 nights accommodation in 2 or 3 bedroom cottage
  • *Free boat rental, Saturday and Sunday (gas not included, damage deposit required) -a $180 value.
Fishing at its best, Georgian Bay Islands National Park, Golfing minutes away, boat cruises, Cranberry Festival in Bala.

Rates Friday AM to Sunday PM
  • 2 Bedroom-   $395.00
  • 3 Bedroom-   $430.00
All cottages are waterfront featuring:
  • Safe sandy groomed beach

  • Dockage for each cottage up to 24ft. boat.

At Picnic Island Resort, we have excellent fishing! Fishing tackle and supplies are available as well as boat and motor and canoe rentals. CanoeLive bait.

Gas, oil, pumpout, propane, ice, fishing licenses, and nautical charts for sale. Marine accessories, safety equipment, marine batteries and more.
